My name is Graves [They/Them], but some call me Odd.
I’m a 24-year-old self-taught Artist & full-time college Student, located in the PNW.I am also known as the artist GravesOddities on other platforms.I'm very passionate about Nature, Liminal spaces, Surrealism, & Horror media and I enjoy creating various forms of art such as embroidery, sculpting, and other physical crafts. I like learning about animal husbandry, urban exploration, natural science, and trying to bond with crows in my spare time.🪲

Serenity Mall

In the middle of nowhere, lies the center of our universe; Shrouded by the mountains and trees, a forgotten dream sleeps…Those who remember, called it the Serenity Mall. Its construction was started in the mid to late 70’s, however, for unknown circumstances, it was never completed.Since then, the nearby town’s population has been slowly shrinking, likely due to its isolated nature and declining economy without the mall’s resources. Rumors of a recent spike in missing persons reports has captured the attention of online blogs and urban legend hunters. Many of them have supposedly set out on investigations, though little information has surfaced.

The mall is overgrown now as nature has reclaimed her territory. Nothing in there works because of flooding, plant growth, and mold damage, causing the upper floor to become unstable as well. Intruders must take caution when entering the building.

A second glance at this dense vegetation reveals the remains of a ghost town. Aside from a few cleared trails between the buildings, traveling outside is near impossible.Despite the abundant plant life, no animals can be found; Just endless green and rustling leaves make the only sound. This eerie silence is only broken at night by the droning of insects and fluorescent lights.If you dare to venture out into kudzu, just be sure to make it back by nightfall; You don’t know what may be out there, lurking in the dark…

Despite the rampant plant life, electricity seems to work here.Can this place truly be abandoned?
